ARIES March 21 ? April 19
If you?ve been feeling distant lately, it may not be because you are retreating so much as getting a broader view of what lies ahead. Soon you will be called upon to wrangle the troops and lead the way into battle. Lest you get too dramatic, this battle may be a simple task you are responsible for at work, or caregiving of a more personal nature. In order to be an effective leader, you will need to know what is ahead of you and how many soldiers upon whom you can rely. If you misjudge either the battle or the force of your army, you could be marching straight into danger. But you won?t do that.
TAURUS April 20 ? May 20
When the party?s over, there?s usually a good deal of cleaning up to do. That?s a bit of how things will feel this month, Taurus. You may look around and see nothing but a big mess. What?s more, your friends are passed out all around you, unable to help. What can you do? The best thing in this case is to quietly, slowly and calmly begin picking up after everyone, one dirty napkin at a time. The job always looks much more daunting before you begin, so shake the sleep out of your eyes, grab a garbage bag, maybe even some Latex Living Gloves, and get to work.
GEMINI May 21 ? June 21
You need to work on road rage this month, Gemini. When faced with bureaucracy at work, you?ll be itching to hop into your car and lose those jerks. Additionally, your ruler Mercury will be nudging you to speak more sharply and impulsively than usual. Both on and off the road, when you?re confronted with traffic jams, don?t be too quick to anger. It?s frustrating when you see the clear and easy resolution while the team deliberates on best practices. Not everyone learns at the same pace. Take a breath and remember that you can?t control what goes on in someone else?s car.
CANCER June 22 ? July 22
For the Cancer homebodies, disruption in routine can be unsettling. This month, you may have a bit of turmoil around the house. Perhaps your relatives drop in for a surprise visit, or you may be forced to care for someone unexpectedly. Your initial reaction, as this pulls your energy away from own home life, may be frustration. But you can make this an opportunity to experience how others live privately. Perhaps it?s as simple as how they organize their spices, or where they keep their laundry detergent. Copping someone else?s daily routines may be jarring at first, but you?ll be surprised at how much of them you?ll want to take home.
LEO July 23 ? August 22
While everyone?s drinking green beer at the pub, you?ll be at your desk finishing up work projects that are long overdue. A short time ago, you made a decision to dedicate a certain amount of energy to your work. So far the paybacks have been good, but now you find that since raising the bar, more is expected of you. This will not last forever and the dynamics of your workload are changing. Soon you?ll be in a more comfortable role with the help you need. For now, stick to the program and get the work done as brilliantly as you know how. The only thing you?re really missing this St. Pat?s day is a hangover and bloating from too much corned beef and cabbage.
VIRGO August 23 ? September 22
Oh dear, Virgo, your Vesta?s in Sagittarius this month. That can mean one of two things. Either you?re focused on very serious matters of spirituality and philosophy, or your libido is ramping up for a few all-weekend throw-downs. If you play it right, you might be able to marry the two and come away from your weekend debauched and enlightened. Either way, you?ll be feeling a strong pull toward both the physical and spiritual this month. If you?re not getting laid, I suggest trying something like hot Bikram yoga, or getting involved with a drumming circle. Heck, even swing dancing can take you to another level with a hot partner. Either way, go out and meet people with whom you?re forced to get physical. Your mantra: ?Nobody puts Baby in a corner.?

Libra, this month you?ll be walking around like you?ve got a deep, dark secret. You do. It?s that you are master of your own domain. Choosing whether to engage in a relationship with someone is usually a clear choice for you. This month, not so much. You?ll have a strong sexual energy off of which people will vibe, but you?re not so eager to share this month. When you?re approached by a willing suitor, don?t be surprised if your reaction is a bit standoffish. This does not suddenly throw you into the fear-of-commitment crowd. Rather, it?s a reinforcement from your own psyche that you are in control of your destiny. There are plenty of fish in the sea and even this one gets away, that doesn?t mean he/she won?t be back again if it?s meant to be. This month, you make the rules.
SCORPIO October 24 ? November 21
You finally reached a period of calm. It?s been a lot of work and a bit of turmoil to get there, but now that you?ve found some peace in your life ? you?re bored to tears. That?s OK. You don?t have to reverse what?s taken the last two years to accomplish. All you need is an exhilarating shake-up. If you can get to Rio for Carnival, for heaven?s sake do it. But while you?re there, stay with a local family, eat what they eat, go to church with them and find out what motivates them to get up in the morning. Ignite the soul and the senses. Even an ethnic cooking class will give you insight into how another culture lives, while providing you with the tactile, sensual experience you crave. Pottery too, will give you the same kind of nourishment. Get your hands dirty while practicing some different, necessary and ancient ritual.
SAGITTARIUS November 22 ? December 21
Sag, you may be feeling like the bubble boy right now. Seeing the whole world from inside your own experience. This distance between you and world is temporary and provides you with an objectivity you don?t otherwise have. With this objectivity you are able to focus on only the important things you wish to engage in, such as helping others. There are people that need you right now. In order to provide help, you need to stay monkish and disciplined, safe in your bubble, away from unnecessary stimuli. As Spring approaches, you?ll start hearing a different tune: ?Dear Prudence, won?t you come out to play??
CAPRICORN December 22 ? January 19
It is said that Capricorns get younger as they get older. That is, as young people they are heavy-hearted, taking in everything, weighing its value and deciding how important it is. After passing the learning curve is when they become capricious. So where are you on this timeline? This month, meditate on where you?ve been, what you?ve learned and where you?re going. If there are outstanding ambitions, set a timeline and resolve to accomplish them. If you can?t commit, tell yourself that it?s OK to change your goals at any time. With practice, you?ll find that when you let go of impractical past goals, your present momentum speeds up. Now you just have to enjoy the ride.
AQUARIUS January 20 -? February 18
Any car salesman will tell you that there are three steps to closing a deal: 1) Tell the person about the car. 2) Let the person test drive the car. 3) Ask for the sale. You?re at step three. You?ve been working diligently, showing people your excellent product. You?ve demonstrated the results to them. Now it?s time to close the deal by asking them to do something for you. People need to be motivated. Hard work is often noticed, but not as often repaid simply because the people in charge don?t know that it?s their turn to act. Let them know what you want them to do and you?ll be surprised at how favorably and quickly they respond.
PISCES February 19 ? March 20
Pisces, this month you have full reign to strut your stuff. I call it March-ismo. Get in touch with your inner (or outer) drag queen and show yourself off.
